M-COVIRB
Introduction
The Component (YPrPb) HD Video plus IR pass through Balun (M-COVIRB) allows The Component (YPrPb) HD
Video and one IR emitter signal to be transmitted via a single Cat5e/6 cable in a point-to-point connection.
Used in pairs , the Component Video/IR Balun supports 480i/p,720p and 1080i/p video formats or commercial
and residential hi-definition (HDTV) video applications and so on.
Features
Supports 480i/p, 720p, 1080i/p
Supports 480i/p up to 1,000 ft (305m) via Cat5E/6
Supports 720p, 1080i/p up to 500 ft (152m) via Cat5E/6
IR 2-wire emitter pass-thru on Third twisted pair
Cost-efficient cabling

Installation Process
1. Plug the Video RCA connectors of the transmit Balun into the Video output of the source component.
2. Attach your 2 wire powered IR output distribution signal to the 2 conductor screw terminal on the transmit Balun.
3. Plug the Video RCA connectors from the receive Balun into your desired input component.
4. Attach your 2 wire IR emitter to the 2 conductor screw terminal on the receive Balun.
5. Make sure that you follow the polarity recommended by your IR manufacturer.
6. Secure the IR emitter to the component you wish to control.
7. Insert the CAT5 cable into both ends of the Baluns.
8. You may use standard EIA 568A/B termination.
